Volunteers meet twice a month to prepare healthy frozen meals that get distributed to families and individuals across Haliburton County. Free meals can be picked up at SIRCH Central in Haliburton Village and are available through several community partners. To learn more or get involved, call 705 457-1742 ext. 31.
Simply Homemade Frozen Meals $5.00
These meals are perfect for residents who can afford to buy, but don’t have the time or ability to cook. Doing good never tasted so good! Buy a meal for yourself for only $5 and you instantly provide a meal to someone else in need right here in Haliburton County.

Minden Food Bank Community Kitchen
Volunteers meet every Monday and produce seventy-five to one hundred frozen meals that are distributed to families and individuals throughout Haliburton County.

Highlands East Community Cooks
The Highlands East Community Cooks (HECC) are a friendly group who like to cook and host Community meals from time to time at the Lloyd Watson Centre in Wilberforce for the benefit of the community.
