Delicious frozen meals that are delivered to your home. Main meal is $4.75. Soup or dessert $1.75. Meals are very nutritious and suitable for people with diabetes or those who need to reduce their salt or fat intake. Special order meals are available for vegetarian, renal, gluten-free, lactose-free, pureed and minced diets. Special order meals are $4.75 each. Subsidy available if required.

Special Diet Allowance
The Special Diet Allowance provides extra funds for people on Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program who require a special diet due to a medical condition. An example of some people who would qualify for the diet allowance are people with diabetes, high cholesterol, gestational diabetes, food allergies, as well as pregnant or breast-feeding women. Other conditions may apply. For an application for Special Diet Allowance or the Pregnancy, Breast Feeding Nutritional Allowance, contact your Social Services Case Worker at 705 457-4571 or toll-free at 1-877-324-9870 and when you hear a voice press #4.
